High winds – 3 large trees, some smaller ones on the Hill Lane bank plus lots of branches brought down by winds. Also, on the other side of Lion Brow, 4 conifers brought down plus 2 snapped off.

No work for health and safety issues

- Carolyn’s birthday party in the churchyard – Jack, Robert, Julie & Hilary came to join us for jacket potatoes, beans, cheese, tea, Geo bars & birthday cake made by Jack

Keith & Michael did more cutting up of stumps of the large trees felled on 18 January, stacking some pieces and reducing others to 14 bags of firewood

Peter and Carolyn gathered and stacked brushwood for the next bonfire, cleared ivy from headstones and gathered rubbish and litter
